Good YouTube #17

GDLP

the doctor is making me do this terrible thing where, after I eat, I have to sit still and upright and be so calm and normal for ages so that my body can digest normally and not squirt the stomach acid back up my throat. but what if i have things to do! but what if eating gives me a bit of energy and i wanna go use it! for god’s sake. ive just had my breakfast pancakes (i blend oats, eggs, greek yoghurt and vanilla extract and then drop in blueberries and i hate cooking so you know it must be good) which means im now in food jail. time for youtube. time to blog about the youtube i watch from food jail.

my favourite use of the internet is ‘photographers telling me whether cameras, lenses or film stock is good or not.’ this one has a blog where she posts all the photos, and the blog led me to the youtube channel which is even better:

the other good use of the internet is ‘i need to say this artist’s name but I wanna pronounce it perfectly, so let me just find twenty minutes looking for a video where they say their own name’ and i didn’t know much about jadé’s practice, but man, look at this studio! look at the scale of this work! 1. i’m a fan 2. I think i felt genuine envy for someone else’s life for the first time in ages?

a classic vlog: designer arrives in italy to do a jewellery course. it makes you think: what if I was a designer who moved to italy to do a jewellery course. if you had to move to another country to do a course in something, where would you go and what would you do? (chile, language)

and then I’m about to start a new project that ill tell you about soon –

but in preparation, I wanted to listen to some interviews to see how people go about asking questions. I saw in the latest four chambers newsletter there was a link to this interview with Vex Ashley talking about gang bangs and the politics of rules in sex clubs. it was great

more mainstream but kept my attention the whole time – music journalists asking hayley williams about her very young start in the industry, the contract fallout, and arrested development

and then not to be an actual 31 year old but this dance trend is so confusing to me ive watched this video 75 times, i love iroha and i love it when she makes her leg spin on an axel it doesnt have

our discord have asked me to do this weekly but i think fortnightly is my pace in life, as per the sunday texts

but i WILL write another blog while i am not allowed to move out of this chair ->
