a bounty starting with a youtuber who is not using any smart screens this year, but instead recording updates on a camcorder and sending them to a friend to upload. the way she talks about her new experience of time and boredom and peace is profoundly……persuasive. i really recommend watching that one as well as the recent part 2, in which she says she caught sight of instagram over her boyfriend’s shoulder and the colours and the font gave her such a wave of anxiety she couldn’t even bring it on alone if she tried. wow

a bit of photography history i knew nothing about: how hiromix changed photography. i want one of her books now!!!! wow

a more casual bit of youtube than the other two, i just really consistently watch these knitting vlogs. If we were in the same city i would say hey do you wanna go on art date? because i parasocially think we would get on haha

a surprisingly dark backstory to a meme, i’ve been working my way through this buzzfeed series and literally every one of them is interesting to me. memes are so dumb

I just hit B2 spanish and i was like huh i wonder what that sounds like and when I asked youtube to show me B2 conversation it led me to this youtuber who records stories about his sexcapades and …yes, this is B2. it’s funny to find a level of spanish that is EXACTLY what I understand give or take 5% of the vocab (which i’m not surprised I don’t know because… im not a gay spanish man). i am going through his videos to practise but also because they are just funny and sweet. Not helpful if you are not also B2 spanish but see if i care!!!!!! adiós
